1st Heywood (St Johns Hopwood) group information
We were formed in 1910 and we have been providing scouting for young people in the area ever since. Our distinctive yellow neckerchief has been around for 113 years.
We have our base in the Hopwood area of Heywood where we are lucky enough to have our own Headquarters building in one corner of Hopwood recreation ground.
Our volunteer adult leaders work tirelessly to provide a fun, stimulating and adventurous program for all our young people. Join us as young person or join us as an adult volunteer. You’ll love it, we do.
