5th Pennine group information
We are the first Muslim Scouts group in Rochdale to actively engage and support young people in their personal development. Open to all, we inspire young people to have fun, make new friends & have life changing adventures. We aim to empower the young people to have new experiences and activities and to get them out of their comfort zones. With a 'You can do!' attitude to learning we allow children to build resilience and confidence whilst earning badges.
Some of the opportunities include cooking, hiking, camping, climbing, canoeing, team building & leadership. First aid, map reading, gardening, astronomy and observing Allah's patterns in nature. The list is endless and the best part is we let our young people tell us what they would like to experience. We offer opportunities for them to help become the best versions of themselves. Parent volunteers & leaders also enjoy learning new skills and making a positive contribution to society.
We meet at Neeli Mosque in the centre of Rochdale
Beavers and Cubs meet from 6:30 on Fridays.
We are starting scouts soon.
